"It was a wonderful spring afternoon 2021, I was talking to Lee on the discord and getting hammered. We soon started recording some free improvisation duets on various acoustic instruments and voice and had quite a blast. For the later duets Lee fed our live audio into an Ableton patch he made. Listening back to the multitracks later I was a little disappointed since there were random audio cutouts happening that were not audible in the original discord chat. So I added a bit of stuff for every track, sometimes piano or some live electronics, other times I edited the material and ran it through Ableton to let it trigger autonomous midi instrumentation or a sliced sample (usually supplied by Benjamin Steinacher). For track 5 I also used some Circuit Bending that Bela did at my place with a Casio we are currently trying to break.
